Longpath - panama training

On Saturday, Perry, Steve, and Roland rode a gnarly 11 mile muni ride along part of the Longpath that runs through Thacher park. We all had a blast the first 3/4s of the ride. After that, exhaustion and rough trials took their toll and we were all happy to get back to the car.

first fall ride

Brad and I went out for a “first day of fall” muni ride in the Pine Bush. This was Brad’s inaugural ride on his sweet new Torker DX and he really rocked the trails. After a couple of “warm up” laps around the peninsula, we tore up the trails back to the car and headed out for the water tower.

At the Water Tower trail head, we got an opportunity to show off for some exhausted looking Mt. Bikers. After we passed they said something to the effect of “those guys are crazy.”

It was a beautiful day and a fantastic ride. Special thanks to Laura for snapping the pics!

CAPUni takes over the plaza

This Wednesday we had a pretty good turnout for CAPUNI at the Empire State Plaza. Steve and Perry brought some extra unis for all of the new riders. Three noobs joined us for this month’s meetup. We hope to see them all back next month.

If anyone is interested in riding the Pine Bush this weekend, get in touch with Perry. He’s planning to ride Saturday and Sunday. Special guest appearance by Stratton this Sunday on his new Torker.
